Default Which receivers for FBL hélis ?

I just ordered a Jeti DS 14 to replace my Futaba T 14 SG and I would like to know which receivers do you use on your helis ?

Do you have somes problems of radio range with REX 3 receiver and the short antennas (10 cm) on 700 helis with carbon frame ?

No problems whatsoever. Using REX6 with short antennas on my Logo 800.

On my TDR I had to had to put the receiver under the boom to be able to clear the frame to my liking.

There are no any problems to use the REX 3

- If you install the antennas outside the frame and/or carbon canopy.

- Place both antennas at 90 degree from each other ( V Pattern ) . https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=527392

- Perform a range test.

BTW this is the same rules for every receiver...

Here is how the antennas are positionned on my Diabolo with the 7008 Futaba. I will do the same with the Rex 3, even if its antennas are a little shorter, (about 4 cms.)

Of course I will do the range test required by Jeti before the first fly.

Thank you all for your advice.
