Unhappy 150x with DSMX satellite suddenly can't bind/arm

I've owned 150x since day 1 last year, but in the past half year or so I've been traveling around. It's been idle there in the box for such a long time. Yesterday I finally charged up some batteries for it and got my DX8G2 previously paired with it. It suddenly won't arm the ESC. I tried to re-bind and every time it said success on my DX8G2 but still the ESC won't arm. I'm using SPM9645 DSMX satellite.

However I did notice the orange light on the satellite isn't ON. When binding it will flash quickly and when bound to my DX8G2 it will flash slowly 6 times and turn off, and stay off. I can't remember if it's like this before.

I've tried the following but none worked:
1. reverting back to 1.0.1
2. updating again to 1.1.1
3. tried DSM2/DSMX 11/22ms combinations
4. step away with transmitter away from 150x when binding
5. reconnecting DSMX satellite with different brand-new cable
6. tried to set DX8G2's throttle output lowest point from -110% to -90% (default -100%)

I have a Orange R111XN but obviously it can't work with 150x as many others and I mentioned in this forum last year.

What could be the culprit? Broken GRS or broken satellite?

Given everything you've tried, I would go with a new DSMX sat first. You can pick up a Lemon diversity for around $10. Always nice to have a spare around, so no big deal if it turns out to be the GRS.

Thank you. I received 2 Lemons today and it turned out that my SPM9645 is dead. Lemon works out of the box with 150X.

This time I did not remove the plastic box on the satellite receiver. Maybe I crashed too much so my receiver became bad..
