Default Motors/ match to Kosmik ESC

I have a Pyro 750-45 which is making an irritating screeching noise at moderate RPM's (my flying range)--it was bought new, but may have been on the shelf a long time, and the motor was exposed (cellophane torn)--even had tiny rust spots on the bell (not visible now, after wiping with oil). It was that dealer's last 750 Pyro in stock.

Assuming it will be easier to buy another 750-size motor (for Soxos DB7), is there any issue with certain brands matching up with the Kosmik ESC? I've heard Scorpion mentioned, and maybe KDE, but that might have only involved the JivePro ESC's, not the Kosmik ?

Also, what about ordering a clean new motor from Kontronik--does that work well, being shipped to U.S. ?

Any advice welcome, re 700-750 motors to use with Kosmik, on Soxos 700 heli (low-moderate HS for now, thus the lower kv).
Thanks

Scorpion works well with Kontronik ESC's. It was the older Jives that you had to run KSE mode but the latest range do not need it anymore. The Scorpion 4525 is a real efficient little powerhouse.

Record video with sound from your helicopter and post it. Some motors are quieter (Kontronik's) and some are noisier (Xera's). Sometimes body of helicopter will multiply motor sound, so quiet motor sounds more noisy.
