I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on one of these but am a bit concerned about the helical main gear and lack of third bearing and pinion support. How are the main bearings, gear and motor bearings holding up?

No problems here. The upgraded double row angular contact main bearings are absolutely bomb proof, but the standard bearings seemed fine too.

If you want to upgrade, do you need 2 ugraded bearing block (upper and lower bearing blocks) or just 1 for the upper bearing block?

I replaced both, but the option is there to replace only one and this would still give the benefit of the axial load bearing capability of the angular contact bearings.

What's the pinion i.d. and motor mount spacing? I see a reducer sleeve with the spare pinions on their site so I'm thinking 6mm with reducer for 5mm shafts but want to confirm. Thinking of running a 500xf 1200kv motor on one of these.
