Default help :( dx6 g2 and trex 150x not binding

hi all

I cant seem to get it to bind. It keeps saying bind failed. Is there anything else that I need to do?

I have a g2 dx6. A shop told me that I need a dx6 g3. Is that true?
whats the difference?
If that is true. Is it possible to update my g2 to a g3? is it just software?

many thanks

Or a spektrum sat will just do. But mine for some reason was broken after idling on the shelf for months and I don't know why. I'm currently running Lemon sat and it works well.
