Default Oxy2 + AR7200

Anyone had any luck with this? I *think* that the Oxy2 is going to be my next helicopter assuming the AR7200 will fit on it. This thing looks amazing as I feel like my 130x is perfect for my yard. If the 7200 doesn't fit, should I just bump up to an Oxy3 for not much more $ and reuse my AR7200?

I installed a AR7200 on a Blade 180 CFX and it flies amazing. I mounted it underneath between the skids . I was able to tune out the known tail wag that the 180 is famous for.

Not sure the Ar7200 will fit in a Oxy 2
But it will the Oxy 3 . The 3 is just all out awesome It can fly any style. It is asked to do.

The 7200 is about 3mm too wide for the Oxy 2.

The Oxy 3 (kit only) is about $70 more than the Oxy 2. For around $100 you can get a Spartan Pico or a u Brain2. Both of these are great units if you don't mind dealing with the micro connectors. The PC programming interface on either of them is heads above 7200 programming. The Brain2 also has rescue if that matters. And if you don't want micro connectors, you can get the Spartan vX1e or the mini Brain2 for ~ $170.

Oxy 2 vs 3 really depends on what size you are looking for. The Oxy 2 definitely takes less space. I regularly fly both in my yard, but with trees and the house on three sides, the 2 is more comfortable than the 3.

Also, in response to a PM, Richard Knapp advised that he understood it had been used uncased, but the users eventually moved on tho other FBL systems. The reasons were not specified and I did not pursue the enquiry any further.

lespaulrob, if you try the AR7200BX please let us know how get on.
