Default SAB Fireball - ESC setup

Hi, I cannot seem to find anything on search about the stock SAB (HobbyWing) 60A ESC programming. Got any leads on this? I'd like to find the correct gov, etc...setup through the programmer

Also, is it possible to use the gov one an Ikon with the stock parts? The gov lead from the ESC is super short.

thanks

It's just a hobbywing v4 esc. Go to the hobbywing site for info. You can stick program some things, but it's better to get the program box.

Yes, plug the cable into the flybar unit and set your governor up. The cables are stupid short.
Use an extension if needed.

Store. Everyone gets confused by this thing. Their instructions suck.

24, but if using brain or ikon take half as the instructions say. So then enter 12.

Also make sure the ESC is on Heli Linear not ELF not STORE if you use iKon gov. Bad thing to have two governors competing against each other.

Just picked up a 2nd hand Fireball that I have partially broken down for inspection / rebuild. As its sits, only the ESC and servo's are mounted.

I have the FBL partially pre-programmed and mounted. Next I need to get into the ESC programming. I have a HW program box.

The problem is that the ESC is snugly mounted in the machine and I cannot access or really see the capacitor-side of the ESC as its facing backward.

I have a HW120 on another machine and know it has a servo plug port on the ESC itself where you plug in the program box.

Does the SAB 60A have a similar port for the program box to plug into? I see two output servo plugs coming from the ESC. One is the power and throttle signal wire and the other is just an orange wire (signal only). Do I use one of these to plug into the program box or do I need to remove the ESC out of the frame and find the female port on the casing?

The HW instructions aren't very clear on this.

Thanks.

You need the nice and buried female port.

I know this is an old thread now, but have any of you gotten the “Connecting to ESC” message which seems to lock up the program box; and how did you get past it? Hobbywings website didn’t offer much insight.
