Default If I have to replace 1 frame side, can I just pop all the screws out of that side?

this seems like it should be fine so long as I loosen the main bearing mounts and re-level both frame sides.... Do I even need to do that?

Yes that is how you will want to do that .
Also match the old frame side with the new to check all the wholes .
If they dont line up then replace both
