Midland Helicopter has some parts, but doesn't look like they have the main shaft.
Do they still have free shipping ? Welcome to EVO HELICOPTERS - |

You can adapt the Align 700FL shaft (non DFC). I recall you need around 0.5 to 1mm of shim under the collar. You will also need to raise the elevator ball slightly to keep the swash arms squared at center collective. Just put a couple 2.5mm nylon washers under the ball link on the elevator arm until it's correct. Or you could make a spacer out of some 2.5mm brass tubing. Lower shaft screw isn't needed just push the lower bearing block up and tighten the screws.
EDIT: I forgot about the V2, in that case just raise the swash slightly by adjusting the turnbuckles. It's only a mm or so difference. |

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the response. flyswatter40 &crashcopterman Thanks. I have sent a email to see if they have stock and costs. Atomic Skull- Is it that simple? By the looks of it the FL shaft is shorter and has no way of locating in the bottom bearing. Are you relying on middle and top bearings to secure it and using shims to adjust the height of the main gear to ride on the middle bearing? Have you tried a FL shaft? Last edited by leadlag; 12-11-2017 at 07:42 AM.. Reason: wrong info |

I know Paul has stock, I saw them on Thursday. I thought I saw a $22 price tag.
Cheers Steve

The (lower) screw hole is slightly higher by a mm or two on the 700FL than on the Rush 750 shaft so as I said if you have a V1 you will need to space the elevator ball a little bit. |

Evo Helicopters should in my regard reproduce the main parts as maingears, shafts and autorotation gears.
when you run a helicopter brand that many people buy, then it's in a way your responsibility to keep the main parts running for the benefits of the customers, this shouldn't be a big deal. |

Evolution are no more which is a shame. People who have owned and flown the brand know how well they fly but unfortunately not enough new adopters bought them to keep them going.
Now I am just concerned in keeping my two going for as long as possible. I have a V1 and V2 and I'm about to stretch the V2. |

I have enough spare V1 airframes to last a very long time.
