Default Just got my Rave ENV

A few years ago i saw the Curtis Youngblood autorotation class on youtube and really liked that heli he used, just look as i like a heli to appear. Located on the other side of the world i concluded fast that his helis was for the USA market and by the way i was into electric. ( and had no idea this heli could be electric too.. So a few weeks ago i found a Rave for sale and found out Dronehelis in HK have taken over the brand and selling parts, so i ended up buying this great heli.

So who of you fly Rave as electric? Nitro? Gasser?

Congratulations on your choice, you will love these helis. Personally I have two Ballistics, don't have an ENV. The biggest difference between the two is the direct to swash linkage and no nitro version on the Ballistic. Most of the parts are interchangeable between the two.

Thanks Paul. This is my first nitro heli, but it will end up as a gasser.. all my other helis are electro. I really like the large canopy and the high of this heli..

Would really like some info on your gasser conversion and how it performs. An ENV gasser is very tempting.

Working on my Rave setup now, first as electric.. Im thinking of my rx placement: Canopy is carbon fiber or fiberglass? Im thinking of place RX under canopy but if canopy is cf its not a good idea.

I had a Rave ENV electric that I converted to a Ballistic and I really liked it alot. The only reason I sold it was to make room for something else and the person I bought it from was looking for one again at the time.

But... I kept a custom painted Rave canopy and discovered that it fits perfectly on my Raptor E700 gasser :-)
