Default Mounting location for the Receiver

I was wondering where to mount the GR18 Receiver on

a synergy n5c heli.

The sloped area is for the liFe battery so I was thinking about

On the plastic servo tray but the problem are the antennas ( the length running into the batt and mast)

Any pics out there to give me a better idea where to mount the

receiver at?

Thx

Are you using the built-in FBL on the GR-18? If so, it can't be mounted on a slant.

Experience is something you gain only after you need it.
I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.

Yes I am using the FBL version. Thanks for that insight. I was hoping you

could. I will definitely put the LiFe battery there then.

Where would be an alternate location be at?

Next place be perhaps on top of the servo tray frame on the

Synergy N5C ?

Not knowing the layout of the N5C, I couldn't say what would work. Mounting options are pretty flexible with the GR-18. The only requirements are that the receiver be isolated from vibrations and square to all three axes; it can be mounted sideways, upside down, or even on its edge.

Thx I am getting there, little slow on the electronic side of it all right now.

Finding things out on the radio and all. Things are just not plug and play for me but do love the radio. I just do not like working things out at the field unless I know what I am doing and why.
