Align 550 / 600 Tri-Blade rotorhead + tailrotor + blades
Used but never crashed Align 550 / 600 Tri-Blade rotorhead, tailrotor, 2 tri-blade sets, 2 550 main masts plus blade-holder (modified)
This will fit Align Trex 550 and 600 * Align H55H004XX Tri-Blade head for 550 / 600 * Align H55T005XX Tri-Blade tailrotor for 550 / 600 * 2 Sets of tri-tail blades (Zeal 95mm and Align 85mm) * 2 sets of tri-main blades (Zeal ZHM-NRG550C-3X and SAB 540-3D) * 2 Trex 550L main masts (Parts available at 550E Three-Blade) Two of the main rotor grip's swash links have been replaced with real turnbuckles and one is standard link. This makes blade tracking adjustments much easier I used this head, tail and blades on my Trex 600 Pro Nitro using a standard 600N DFC main mast. The motor couldn't handle the load, so I went back to the stock DFC setup. But, it was fun. I am currently using this same setup on my Trex 600E Pro and it is really a blast. This head will bolt onto a stock Trex 600E pro DFC main mast. But, if you want maximum stability, you need to drill two holes (it is easy) in the mast for the 2nd jesus bolt. The tri-blade tailrotor eliminates the tail-blowout on the 600 even with a 2100 RPM headspeed no matter how hard it is pushed. This setup will make your 550 / 600 stand apart from any of the other Align helis on the field. It sounds great and it really is a step up. The tri-blade setup has a lot more power. But the only change needed is to turn down the cyclic / tailrotor gain in the gyro by 2/3 (EG:If it was 60, turn it down to 20) - then add more gain until it feels locked in. The Tri-blade head requires NO special setting on any FBL gyro on the market today. Other than lowering the gain, it is plug-and-play. The head is designed for 2500 RPM normal and 2600 maximum headspeed. I fly my Trex 600E Pro with 2200 RPM headspeed and SAB 570-3D blades and it is as responsive as I can handle. I cannot recover the initial cost, but I am asking $300 (PayPal only) for everything shipped to the US. I also have a Trex 550 tailboom (black), torque tube, tail brace and CF tail pushrod I will throw in for no charge NOTE: The tailrotor requires the Align dual-point "multi-link" tail pitch slider. This is not included. I also have a 3rd set of 3 blades that are Zeal ZHM-NRG600Y 600mm blades. These were matched a the factory for weight and balance before they were were shipped. If you want them too, add $75
