But I would like to know a few questions even though the first phase of transformation has taken place:

1. Would an increase weight, affect my ESC and Motor? (stock)

2. I also got a 5 bladed CNC head, which I have not installed yet. What other mods do I need to install along with the 5 bladed head? (ESC, Motor, Battery, Tail blade?)

3. I know that 3D will not be possible now with such weigh, but what kinds of mods or tweaks do I need to perform on the Beast X in order to make it fly better? (not 3D, but just better).

I already flew her for a bit and noticed that for her to lift I need to apply more pitch than usual.

Thanks for your help!

Regards,
RayanFPV
I can tell you from experience...

Upgrade to the Lynx 6S motor - Pulse 1050mAh battery - and Castle Talon35 ESC...

And your 450X will be a savage beast...You'll be turning down the Throttle Curve until you get used to the sound of all the power

One more question JonJet:

In the meantime while I get the upgrades you suggested, is it safe to fly my modded 450X with stock electronics? Or am I risking to get brown-outs due to excess weight of the canopy and stock servos?

I don't have plans to fly aggressively, just scale pattern flying at most.

Thanks pal!

Not sure but it does feel much heavier. I had to apply much more pitch just to get into a hover.

I didn't try to fly with Idle-up but let me investigate the actual weight of the fuselage.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, in the manual, it does not state the weight.

Well, you can still use a real life system: put her on a scale!

Did you have a chance to weigh it yet?

BTW...I take back the Talon35 recommendation...I've gone to the Talon60 in all My 450X's after hitting max amps with the Lynx motors and having the heli "land itself" without My prior approval

Really...

That sounds awful light...or is that just the canopy?

What does the whole setup weigh...including battery?
