Default SAB 60A ESC: what is the most current firmware version?

I connected the stock SAB 60A ESC to the HobbyWing Multifunction LCD Program Box. The HW USB Link software stated to update, but the update stated HW 130 ESC. I now have ESC firmware version PL-04.0.05.

Someone please verify what the latest and correct ESC firmware version is.

Try installing the firmware again. The newest firmware for all platinum controllers should be 4.00.03

I just attached one of my older HW 60A ESC on a G380 w/ PL-04.0.05 to new software on computer and it too now shows to have the 130A ESC firmware. I would probably say it is a mix up on Hobbywing side and will be fine to fly.

That site is the Asia site which is fine to download from but some users have complications getting the downloads started.
For some unknown to me reason all the new firmware go on that site first then a little while later come to the HWdirect site.

I just hooked up my 60A ESC on a G420 and it shows HW130_V1.00456NB also.
I have been flying these two 60A ESCs for awhile and not one issue. This has to be a mix up in the data base on HobbyWing end.

All is good!

I communicated with both SAB and HobbyWing. I want to share a few things I leaned along the way.

1) This SAB 60A ESC is an OEM product, and HobbyWing does not provide support for it. HobbyWing very politely asked to contact SAB for support with this ESC. They also provided me with this web link which explains why HW does not support OEM products.

2) The hardware version "HW130_00456NB" is correct for this 60A ESC. The designation "HW130_..." does not mean that this is a 130A ESC. This is just how the developer decided to name this hardware.

This is how the SAB support stated it, "At the PC, 'HW130'doesn't not mean Platinum 130A or any amps of an ESC.
We have HW 521 for 10Amp of ESC,HW113 for 25amp of ESC ,HW327,HW680.....these are just an inner referring number, for different PCB's, to distinguish them...so having not related to an amp of ESC's firmware...

Sorry for the confused. We'll consider to delete it in future, for our own to view this hardware information only.
"
