Default brand new bad tail servo?

so I just started to get things ready for the build and hooked up the tail servo to a 6100 spectrum RX to center and it moved a tiny bit and that is all? The RX is in a plane that all channels of the RX work fine but the SAB servo just holds and it will not move w/stick movement? I hooked up one of the SAB cyclic servos to the same channel and it works fine. (rudder channel). I guess its bad, I wonder why it holds and if you try to move the servo it fights you and hums but will not move.

A dedicated tail servo operates at 760 ms center. It does does work at all connected to a normal servo port.

Hook it up to a FBL, set it up to 760 ms and it will be fine.

I did try it on my ar7200 with the same results. The 7200 is hooked up to a older setup so could that still be why that its not set up for the correct frequency?

Yes, sounds likely.
If the FBL tail is set up to accept a 1520 us servo this SAB tail servo will not work until the FBL setup is changed.
You can test it: if a cyclic servo works in tail then it is about the setup.
