Bearing blocks are a no go. You have to use a odd bearing size for a rc car.

Default up and away

Would anything speak against using just the rotorhead of the 470L on a 450?

I bought a 450 Sport with the RJX (probably clone) FBL head.
The swashlock does seem like a DIY construction with the regular Align arms connected to the swashplate and other arms connected to the rotorhead. This causes the swashplate to be slightly out of phase.

Because I cannot get parts for this head I wanted to switch to a newer one, but I would want to avoid DFC.

Could I just order the plastic central piece, blade holders, feathering shaft and swashlocks from the 470LP and use them on my 450? I am sure there are inserts to extend the M2 to M2.5.

Main shaft diameter seems the same, the screw that goes through main shaft and center piece is not (M2 vs M2.5). The center piece is also held in place by the outer screws that connect to the swashlock pieces. So it should be enough to use an M2 screw as center screw in the center piece?
