The matching boom and skid tubes look very cool with that canopy.

Default Here's my MD Fleet...

Quick pic of my fleet... still waiting on a few parts and a set of blades... but just last weekend I did have all 5 of them up and flying in the same day! Been a long time since I've had this many birds flight ready! Feels good to be back in it again!

That is quite the fleet of MDs, I've had that many just not at the same time.

One of those is yours Chuck! Lol. Yours was the first MD7 airframe I bought... I've never looked back. Only problem is, they don't fit into the commuter car very well... no room for the generator... just gotta grab charged batts and keep the session short. At least when I take the truck and trailer to the funflies I'll have many more birds to fly this season!

The new wrap around canopy sure makes it look like a totally new bird! Can I see what it looks like from the tail down? I've got my vbars up on the boom block and I'm curious if it'll still fit there under that canopy...

I'll have to get you a picture. But, there's plenty of room. I have an ICon mounted in the same place and the canopy isn't anywhere near close to it.

The short bent boom supports you see is part of the canopy update. I really don't see the reason for the new boom supports but was told you have to use them.

However, when I get around to stretching the MD700 to an 800 I will probably move the 700 boom supports and tail control rod to the 600.
