Default Help With SK720BE Setup Please!

Hey guys! I need help setting up my 720BE in my turbine Bergen which I converted to flybarless. I'm using a Futaba system, NOT SBUS but I can if need be. Here's my dilemma:
Bergen uses 2 servos on the swash( elev and ail), so I'm guessing I setup for a 4 point swash? AND Bergen uses a separate servo for collective, so I'm not sure if this goes to the Rx or to where on the 720? Also I assume throttle will go direct to Rx.
Thanks all in advance!

Hi, please be advised the last turbine in here ended badly, to which SK then added ''not suitable for turbines'' on their web page afterwards,,,,,

So I'm not going through the setup with you as this is potentially an issue,,,, please research for peace of mind,,,,,,

If Georgi says beware; better take heed!

For reference, Skookum's website and manuals were probably last updated in 1990, but here are two statements still on their site and wiki for you to mull over ( I also researched suitability for Turbine power):

SK720 product page: "The SK 720 should not be used in twin-spool turbine powered helis, as the very high frequency noise unique to these turbines can cause sensor errors. This problem is common to most flybarless systems currently on the market." [http://www.skookumrobotics.com/produ...rless-system/]

Skookum wiki: "Are the SK720 and SK540 Ok for Turbine-powered Helis?
The SK-720BE has "pinpoint" gyros sensors inside, that are tolerant of the high frequency vibration from turbines. So it's Ok for turbines.

But the SK-540 and older "blue" SK-720 use gyro sensors that may be sensitive to turbine vibrations, especially dual-spool turbines.

Note, this is also true of most other gyros on the market, except for the very few that use "pinpoint" sensors. We recommend that turbine RC helis only use either the SK720BE, or a competing gyro that uses "pinpoint" sensors." []FAQ / Frequently Asked Questions - Skookum Robotics Wiki

Thanks Pdupreez, I looked for references but getting ERROR 404 here,,,,,, The whole point is the BE is Not a dedicated turbine FBL controller whereas others are sold as such and fit for purpose,,, usually includes an acoustic box to shield the high frequencies,,,,,,

I was heavily involved with the last attempt and would advise to use Only a dedicated unit. FWIW,,,,,

Guys.....thank you for that information! Mine IS the BE unit but since there is some doubt I'm not going to risk my turbine on it. So, what IS a good FBL controller for a turbine?
THANK YOU again!

Bingo! I would not drop a Spirit pro on any turbine heli btw! Not recommended from them either. Also most turbine guys really push Jeti as it is also immune.
