Default Nano and Taranis

Has any one been successful in flying the Nano with a Taranis and a Spektrum module?

I have a lot of weird issues for example both the collective pitch and throttle responds to the same channel (Chan1)

yeah, i have an eepe with everything working . the calibration flight is hit or miss but thats really the only issue. i use a module from my old dx6i, connects in dsmx. in fact it was still bound the first time i turned it on in the taranis.
if you bind in non computer tx mode it mixes on the nano 3in1 -- push rudder right when binding

I finally found it! My rudder channel was reversed and therefor the right rudder was a left rudder .

Happy flying with the Taranis now !

Is it normal that when you use a Taranis with the Blade that you need quite some trim even in stability mode? I now need about 10% trim on aileron and 5% on elevator.

Or can I fix this with a proper swash leveling (I just replaced the swash with a lynx swash and dfc head)

I've been trying to figure this out myself. I'm using an IRX4+ module with a Taranis QX7. I downloaded those .eepe config files and when set to DSMX 22ms mode it bound right up to the heli, but the configs were all wrong, the channels were all mixed up. I'm not sure if this is an artifact of the module or if there's a mid-production change to the flight control board that rearranged things. I tried just re-arranging the mix with the existing files but it was still way off so I started from scratch.

Now I have it to the point where the controls are all moving and in the right directions, and it will fly in stability mode, but it absolutely refuses to go into 3D mode or idle up. With the current setup it will spin up with a red LED and negative pitch when the collective stick is below halfway and the switch is set to 3D mode, but as soon as I cross over the the halfway point or somewhere close to it to take off the blue light comes back on and it enters stability mode. It flies fine in stability mode other than the persistent drift but that's another issue. I've been fooling with it for hours.

My channels are arranged like this:
Ch1 - Ail
Ch2 - Ele
Ch3 - Collective
Ch4 - Yaw
Ch5 - Mode
Ch6 - Throttle? This channel has absolutely no effect, it does not spin the rotor up from a stop on its own, and does not change head speed if it's spinning away on the ground with stability mode on.

I'm so confused and frustrated with it now I could very well be overlooking something obvious, but I have no clue. Anyone have any ideas?

So what I've found it's AETR Safe, pitch?
With the red light it is 3d mode, blue is stability, previous person needed to change direction if channel 5. Still tweaking my nano s2 in. But have it flying, panic mixing is throwing me a weird loop yet, gotta understand how the mix works and I can maybe get it working better.
