Cool Air Spark Pro

weighs just 15 ounce, ,
Air is a jacket pocket drone that fly’s itself.

Air $799. Spark $499. Pro $999

For me the air sounds nice but $200 more and you get the Pro 2

Air is tiny, a little less then size of a Mavic Pro and half the weight at just 15 ounces.
When folded up, it's about the size of a paperback novel.

4K video and 12-megapixel stills
32-megapixel panorama
newly designed, three-axis stabilizing gimbal.
Flight time 21 minutes
antennas in the landing gear
flight range of 2.4 miles
42 mph, a smidge faster than the Mavic Pro, and 11 mph faster than the Spark.
new image-capture tricks that let you take spherical panoramas, and a couple of new flavors of epic zoom-in shots
gesture controls just like the Spark, so you can command it to take off and follow you around by moving your hands.
selfie by forming a "picture frame" with your thumbs and forefingers.
Air's obstacle-avoidance tech seems on par with the high end of dronedom
Sensors front, back, and sides keeping Air from crashing into walls, cars, power lines, and the pilot (you).

New software DJI developed for Air uses the onboard cameras to scan the area in front of the Mavic Air, then plans a flight path before it even approaches any obstacles. The pilot just pushes the controller's joystick forward,
Air looks good but if I drop an extra $200 I could get the better Mavic Pro. So which to buy?

Gotta say it looks cool, but I'm sure the Mavics will be on sale soon making the prices very close. DJI really is raising the bar for flying cameras.

Which to buy really depends on your use case.

The Mavic Pro has occusync which is a more stable connection, with significantly better range.

As far as the cameras, again, depends what you want. Better low light = Mavic Pro, 1080 120FPS, Air...

Stats on the controller, pro. Slightly better portability, air...

All trade offs.

Personally for "my" use case, I believe the Air will be a better fit. I have one on order and will be posting my Mavic Pro Fly More set with ND filters and such in the classifieds when I have some time free.
Current favorites...
Oxy 3, Goblin 380, Logo 480Xx, Goblin 500, TBS Gemini, 250 FPV Quad Racers, bunch o' Planks, etc..

Cool MAVIC PRO 2 looks Interesting

Still Looking
Pro 2 (release date ~ April 16)
• Larger than the current Mavic Pro
• 4820 mAh battery capacity and 15.2 V power (compared with 3830 mAh and 11.4 V for the current Mavic Pro).
• Different battery design than the current Mavic Pro
• Upgraded propulsion with larger motors (slightly smaller than current Phantom 4)
• 33-minute flight time. Maybe longer (current Mavic Pro has 27-minute and Platinum 30-minute flight time).
• It will have ‘quiet’ propellers
• Top speed is 72 kph (45 mph) in sport mode (2/24)
• 1″ CMOS sensor (current Mavic Pro has 1/2.3” CMOS sensor) with 28mm lens.
• No mechanical shutter
• Variable iris/aperture F2.8-F11
• Newly designed 3-axis gimbal.
• Infrared 3D sensing to avoid obstacles even in the dark
• It will have an improved vision processing system, faster than Mavic Air
• Binocular rear vision obstacle avoidance sensors.
• The same design of remote control as old Mavic Pro but drastically improved
• Will use OcuSync.
• Video transmission frequency is unknown.
• Improved agility and precision.
• Control DJI GO 4 app
• Expected price point: $1299 USD or more. The FlyMore combo will be more expensive.

Mavic Pro II to carry over many of the new technologies that have been introduced with the Mavic Air, such as APAS, 3D sensing and obstacle-avoidance (front, bottom, and rear). Astroid, Boomerang and Panorama photos with a push of a button.

I like the 33-minute flight time.Only Thing it is expensive.
but I guess
You get what you pay for
