Not saying it would be a problem. But for more redundancy, I would put the SAT receiver on the other side towards the back of the frame. That way you will have good reception on both sides of the heli. Try to mount in a way that the antenna leads are not blocked or behind the carbon frame.

I mounted one of my SAT's on the back side of the frame, where there is a thin strip of frame just wide enough for the SAT to mount and allow the antenna leads to stick out into thin air. Hope this helps

Looking at all your machines makes me second guess posting a stock looking bird but, here goes anyway. All stock electronics, all metal save for the boom mount. f3c/stock landing strut setup. 600 boom, 600 radix sb and gona try the 95 kbdd. bx7200 +sat controling it.

Had some health issues that kept me from getting this in the air until last week. Loving it!!!
