Default Exxtreme 700 swashplate tooooo tight.

Guys I just got this bird used and set it up the other day and it flew great but I noticed the servos were making a lot of noise and my receiver flight pack would go from fully charged to 3.80 per cell after only two 4 min flights! I did a lttle investigating and realized the swashplate was extremely tight...to the point that I think it shouldn't be used until I fix the problem. Well spent the afternoon trying to lube and loosen it by hand and I think it was actually getting tighter! Well after a few hours I tried to pop the ball out of the plastic sleeve and it isn't coming off. Now I am looking for a new swashplate...99.00!!! All I really need is the ball and sleeve but I am sure the only way to get it is by buying the whole swashplate. If anybody out there has the ball and sleeve from a damaged swash I would gladly buy it and pay for shipping and your time. Greatly appreciated.
Please PM me if you do thanks.

I've been wiring my new to me 700xx and noticed the same thing with the swash. I'm hoping after some flights the swash will break in and get a little looser. I'd be careful about which lube you use on the swash ball, the plastic may swell or degrade. I use this stuff in these applications: https://www.amazon.com/Dow-Corning-P...643254&sr=1-27

I'm wondering if all 700xx have needed some type of break in period for the swash?

From what I've heard a lot of them have this issue and because of the delrin material they don't loosen up over time. I wish Lynx made an aftermarket swash for these heli's but they don't. They make a nice one for the logo 690 though.

I found the screws that hold the black piece down can cause some binding.

The screw heads push down the the black ring with too much pressure causing the black ring to deform a bit.

I took black section out and sanded it down a bit.

Also some oils do make it tighter.

I found dry to be the best.

Cold weather makes them tight also.

I did some seating of the center ball into the black ring.
Took a rubber handled tooth brush and pushed into center of ball , then chucked into cordless drill. Spun till warm to try to get it seated and loosened up.

Takes a while but with some sanding and spinning you can take a lot of tightness out of swash.
