Default Lower Thunder T Battery tray?

I am thinking about a Thunder T but the manual states that 60mm is the tallest batteries able to be used and mine are 61mm. I was wondering if there is enough space to drill a few extra holes and lower the battery tray while still allowing enough room for a Tribunus 200 esc?

Cannot say for sure but I think it will be too tight for comfort.

Here is my 700T with the Tribunus 200A and although it fits there is no spare room.
