I want something smaller in addition to my protos 380. Not realy sure atm.
Something like an Oxy2 (guess to expensive, including a lot of work and crashing), or a XK K110 for the lols. Edit: Sorry, i have just now seen its in the blade section. Just ignore it please. |

An updated 130X...(150mm stretch version)
CC Talon 15 for 2S/3S or even 4S batteries with plenty of canopy room Simple TT design like the 180CFX Rotary servos (don't say it can't be done - MicroHeli did it) |

Im w jonjet! I want the 130x back!
we need a 2s maybe 3s, light, 130 to 150mm heli. After all these years the 130x is still my favorite micro.. when it runs well. either a really light tail motor that works really well (like align 150x or your 230s) or we need metal gears, esp C gear. and a better tailcase and bearings. the walkera v120d02s and 130x were only servo driven tails in that size that were that light. i know the 130s was a shot but it was tail heavy w short flight times. a bigger battery caused tail blowouts. im thinking rerelease an improved 130x. just make it light so it doesnt need crazy high headspeeds and w a solid tail that doesnt need upgrades. and brushless. This size handles breezes better and is small enough that i can fly in a small parking lot without attracting attention and thats what i want. Right now i resort to xk k110 and align 150x bc they fly great but they bob up and down w light breezes. my 130x i have would cost 500 to build bc of upgrading it to avoid stock issues.. i dont want to keep that w me. 130s.. tail issues.. 180cfx.. too fast. make a blade 150s w plastic frame, linear or rotary servos, solid tail, moderate headspeeds for big air, and decent flight times and Im in. Or something like it. Oh.. and electronics that dont get glitchy.. aka 3n1 board. i got rid of the mcpx brushless and xk k120 bc of glitchy esc's. Somehow the old 130x had a pretty solid esc.

I'd like to see Blade's next (micro?) CP design include a protected swashplate and pushrod scheme like on the 70S/Esky 150X. Putting the swashplate inside the frame and running the (bent) pushrods inside the (larger) top bearing alongside the main shaft is ingenious! And, not having servo-to-swash pushrods to adjust is another great benefit.
Blade, I hope you realize you raised the bar by offering the 70S/150X with those mechanics. Squeeze one more servo in up front and connect it to the swashplate ... And more rugged landing skids, also like the 70S/150X (but unlike the ones on the 180CFX). Last edited by FR4-Pilot; 05-10-2018 at 08:09 AM.. |

I'm with jonjet and Indokast on this.
Ever since I got my first 130x I've been hooked. My biggest problem is my age and the fact I have tremors. It is a royal pain for me to try to clean or service these linear servos. I have four now converted to rotarys. Other than the occasional tail twitches they fly awesome. I like the mechanical tail but I can see where a motorized tail would be more reliable and cheaper to maintain. The 3 in 1 could use a little improvement in that it would have a way of reversing the servos so you don't have to buy a special one and also that fets could handle the demand better. Ive got it.. we need a 140mm, BL, rotary servos, light plastic frame heli that we can program like align does on the 150x.
robust esc etc for crashes and solid tail hold. (like a big and fully programmable mcpx)

Robust for crashes is a must! I like the app idea on the 150x, but lets hope blade can pull off a better version, thet 150x and app are a mess!

We definitely need more robust esc's. The 130x esc was a great example. I crashed it hundreds of times and never had a problem. I crashed mcpx bl once, into a bushy tree at that, and esc glitched out next flight and rendered the heli worthless. not cool for a 200 dollar tiny heli. On the 150x note.. ive had good luck with mine so far.. havent wrecked it tho. it would be awesome to have a solid flyer w that capability for dsmx from Blade. I use futaba tx with the align 150x bc seems dsmx sats people have issues with frequently enough on it.

To HH,
I need a blade bnf fusion 480. I don't have the time to built. There are many folks like me out there no time to built. I was 100% sure that fusion 480 will have a BNF option. But it was not. I am looking for something bigger like a 500 or 550 size BNF machine. I have been flying these heli's for years now: Blade 450x v1, v2, 4503d, 500 3d, 360cfx, 270 cfx, 300 cfx, 230s, 180cfx, 120s, nano cp, Also Blade Chroma still going strong. I spend tons of money for my passion for this hobby. Lets keep the hobby alive. There are many BNF customers out there who wants bigger helis. Like 500 or 550 size BNF machine. You can have an option to call and order for bigger BNF machine. For safety concerned you can have something in writing from the buyer that you are not responsible if anything goes wrong. Or something .... Thanks Robin. |

I would like a new Nano CPX that is 10%-20% bigger (main blades about 100mm) and flies better. It would have more powerful main motor and tail motor.
Beginner mode and transmitter are not necessary. Most people would get a DX6 or use their existing Tx. |

A 550 size heli. That swings 550 mm blades. The blade 550x is a great flyer. Please keep in mind price point. You have to be competitive otherwise the result will be the same short lived. Kit to build with electronics. Pretty much the same as you did last time with the pro series.

I would like a full featured "travel" transmitter with DX6 level features.
I travel for my job. I often get to the hotel at 0100 and leave next PM to work again until 0100 the next morning. So I have more "free" time for RC at work than at home. All my travel is air travel. There is some threat of damage or theft-I do not take my DX8/9 because of bulk and more than I am willing to risk in air travel. I could be in the market for DX6 feature and quality in a small package. I imagine a lot of design directions possible from just compact to something that folds compact with fold out grips. This package along with mcpx size heli could be perfect for hotel rooms or the grass lawn behind many hotels. Whatever you come up with should NOT appear threatening to the TSA. Cool of you guys to solicit input. I have moved on to other brands OXY4 my next purchase, but will forever use your transmitters, all my airplanes came from Horizon Hobby vendors, and as I sit in my family room there are 4 Blade helicopters decorating the room. Edit. Maybe 7 channels-it should be able to run any cp electric heli with bailout or SAFE. Now that I think about it, maybe I should just buy a RTF mCPS package? Maybe I was overthinking this. |
