Strange BK servo twitch on SAB. Video
Hey guys, a bit of an annoying problem here with one of my SABs. I will let the video do most of the describing but the problem exists with or without blades and about 80% of the time. At lower head speeds(900-1100) it will sometimes behave fine but a higher speeds it goes crazy. The video shows an Ikon2 installed. I have also used a Brain unit that has worked great on my Trex700 but the same problem shows up with that FBL when installed on the SAB. So that leads me to believe it is not the FBL.
Video:
Cylclics: BK7001HV Tail: Torq BL9188 ESC Hobbywing Pro 160a 12s battery setup with Savox motor. 2dsmx sats Transmitter: DX6i(dsmx) Heli has never been crashed. Mechanically everything feels tight and checks out. The servo frequencies have been set to the factory recommended for the cyclics and tail in the Ikon software. Any help is much appreciated!! Thanks! |

Everyone that has failures with these servos is taken care of. Just send email and video to Bk. How many flights do these have on them?

Unlikely to be a servo fault because they are all twitching at exactly the same time and are all ok when the motor isn't running and/or running at lower RPM.
You have tried another (known good) FBL and it dint make any difference, so that pretty much rules that out. This to my mind leaves only a few options:
Oh, and one more thing to try - Move the Tx away from the Heli by a few ft. I've never seen it with 2.4Ghz but with older systems having the Tx too close could cause twitchy servos, and it's easy enough to do so worth a try.

Static. Retry same test in the video. Put one finger on tail case bolt head and other finger on the motor mount bolt. If it's static it won't twitch now. Take finger off and will twitch again. Had a 420 do this recently looked exactly the same
