Got the nitro V2 conversion kit a few days ago! Nicely machined pieces!

Will post images when I get time to spare.

I got the V2 frames included with the conversion kit so I don't have to do any cutting or drilling.

Most of the work is swapping the components over from the V1 to the V2 frames. Quality and fit is top notch.

What I did was take one side of the V1 frame off, assemble the V2 side on one side only and swapping the needed components over. Everything went together smooth with no issues. The tolerances are tighter in the V2 components such as the main gear to OWB hub and the torque tube end to the coupler.

Used the middle hole in the pinion gear block. Tiny backlash movement in the mesh between the clutch pinion to the main gear. Even checked for high and low spots and there's none. It's even all around. Then set the mesh from the crown gear to the tail drive gear. Got it dialed in good.
Pretty easy overall. Took me roughly about 5 hours and change to swap everything over.

This doesn't include the torque tube for the tail which needed green loctite between the torque tube and the bearing insert sleeve and then the sleeve to the bearing. Carefully study the manual (note the orentitation of the bearings, sleeves, cups, and the measurement from each end in relation to the heli direction. I let this torque tube sit on the workbench for 6 hours to allow the green loctite to cure. Assembly was about 10 mins.

Not able to test fly it because my HV throttle servo crapped out (was gonna fly it before the conversion time) and now I'm waiting for a new HV throttle servo.

The V1 had a garbage 1 way design with it in the pinion instead of the main gear. It will fail, usually pretty quickly. The V2 move it to the main gear like every other heli. If you bought it used, you’ve got the V1.
