470LP GPS speed testing. WOW....
Went out this morning with the GPS strapped underneath the 470LP. Did 5 passes about 800-1000' in length, with about a 75' altitude start before the dive. 87.8MPH!!
Pulse 1800mah 45C pack, 80% Throttle on the Align ESC. 2850-2900 headspeed. ALZRC blades, AR7210BX. This thing is fast... I was expecting about 70-75mph. There's a little more room I bet with 90% throttle or so. Last edited by Swinerton; 05-31-2018 at 10:02 AM.. |

I always wondered what it runs. I guessed about 80mph on mine at 3200 HS, same battery. Cool to know it's hitting that at 2900.
Now I'm compelled to strap my phone to mine for a test pass lol.
