New nano owner... what upgrades?

Hello everyone!

I just bought a new nano cpx. I have a highly moded 230s but got something smaller to learn 3d better on and indoors rather than outdoors. I have a dx9 Tx.

I know I am going to be breaking parts like landing gear (already broke part in 2 flights, from what the other forums have said I am likely going to burn out a motor, I need to get more batteries... what should I get?

What would you experienced owners make with it from stock to ensure longevity, durability, and lower amount of money spent on it? Specific part numbers help too if available.

I think the Stock is best status, if you are aiming to fly her like following youtube.

Nano cpx all is possiblee!! (2 min 29 sec)

The main motor may however be changed so frequently.

Install an AL swash and keep the rest stock. Have a set of spare motors on hand as they will wear out. If you want easy replacement of the tail motor you can buy it installed in a new boom.

If you mod it too much the added weight will kill the performance.

I did some modding and "improvements", and it never flew well with them. Especially extended tail boom and upgraded tail motor.

I recommend:

Aluminum Swash
Aluminum Blade Grips
Lynx main and Tail Blades (Tail Blades are very hard to find)
MyLipo.de or other high performance 200mAh.
Upgraded main gear
Upgraded main motor from Micro Motors Warehouse

The Blade ones are not very round and cause vibrations. Also they do not last long.

It is indeed works better. But it gets stripped quite easily. My nanos are brushless and I stripped 4 of these gears so far. Now looking for better main gear.
