I was really excited for this heli and was holding out to buy one. Seeing this price for a bare bones kit, it's definitely a no for me, and I'll be getting a trex 550 instead.
Unless they release a version with all electronics for a decent combo price...

A Heli that is made in China by workers who earn a bowl of rice a day for their efforts?
I love the look of this machine, and was looking for the next step above the 360CFX i bought, but this is price gouging.

I'm with the rest of you, i'll look elsewhere for the next bigger model.

Most kits are supplied that way these days.. i.e. main assemblies come dry assembled, usually with screws finger tight.
It does help with the build for sure as you dont have to go searching though bags to find all the bits, but it does also require a methodical approach to the build so as to make sure you dont forget to check every screw is Loctited and tightened down.

My season starts in October. Right now itís too hot unless I fly around 4am. Summer here is good for practicing in the sim and maintenance.

Any thoughts on when blade will release the manual? That would be a nice to have before pulling the trigger on the 480.
