I used a wicked hot soldering iron so I could work quickly in hopes of getting a good solder joint without melting the solder that holds the prongs to the circuit board inside. I find that a hotter iron works better in those cases because you donít have to heat things up as long.

I hope that helps. If I can get a photo of the connection point I will, but you canít see much cus I Goobered it all up with the liquid electrical tape to protect it from something shorting it out. Maybe I can find a pic from back in the day when I soldered it up. Iíll look.

Oh. I got some of the mating connector and plan to design a PCB for it. Though, for now, I soldered some wires to the mating connector and wrapped it all up in electrical tape so I could test things.

Quick question guys....
I'm about to start putting my charger case together and was wondering what size thick of plexiglass will be best or optimal for the inside panel ?
Thanks.

Default Who needs batteries...

Here is mine. Going to eliminate batteries altogether. Feed directly to my heli. Needs a lot of voltage though. There are power lines near my field.

Default My Case

This one houses a single 20A charger, 600 watt power supply, cooling fans all in a Pelican housing. Works great.

I'm in the process of building a similar layout with 2 x 206b (20A) chargers and a 1200 watt power supply.

I'm about to post the single charger set-up in classifieds if anyone is interested.

Built mine up with a 10mm MDF deck coated with CF-effect vinyl, 1150W 25vdc PSU (Coolice) and PL6 + MPA board. Just fitted a USB socket too. Also has a 12vdc banana socket output on the side. Done on the cheap, happy with it so far!

Revolectrix will give you a STEP file for their charger cases if you ask. Junsi, on the other hand, claims they have no such files...
