Sounds like your 250 might have some mechanical issues, the tail on them is definitely touchy and an art to get going well. I have several 250s and I'm still not "good" at getting them perfect, but I have plenty of parts to swap around to make things right. I think in that respect the Oxy is much, much better, the tail works out of the box.

Do you just need more tuning on the oxy or is there something about the Trex that is just much better?

This is such a personal thing and folks often don't qualify their preferences with any info on how they fly or specifically what they like better. (I fail at that too.) Thanks to Navigator and Yakky for some specifics. I also get Chuck's "just feels right" answer.

Interesting that you can find people who like the 230s better than either the T250 or the Oxy 2. A straight vote on which is "better" would not give a prospective buyer much useful info without a lot of qualification from the raters.

Anyway, for folks who love their 250 and are waiting on an upgrade, it's unfortunate that one isn't coming any time soon. The Oxy 2 definitely makes a good replacement for a dead 250!

Just wondering, does anyone here have a lightweight belted 250 (FBL) they'd like to get rid of (or just a belted FBL airframe only)? There's no new ALIGN 250X, but I'd really like to get back to the 250, I miss mine

I got Oxy 2 210 instead and it flies great
Feels better than my t250 pro dfc few years back. O2 is flying much bigger than its size and feels very nice in the air.

Yeah, Szabo posted this on Facebook

So now the question is, will it follow their annoying naming scheme and be called 300X but run 250 or so blades or will it run 300mm class blades

I'm guessing 250 cuz 325 would be too close to the 470L at 380mm ( ) or maybe 270-280

Just looking at that photo. It looks to be a heavy bird (compared to the Trex 250) with that big can, Esc and servos. So I'm guessing 270mm-280mm minimum.

It's interesting Align is still kinda supporting the DFC. I wonder what FBL gyro they will be using. The tail case looks chunky as well.

Based on that picture, my guess is that it might be about the same size or a little smaller than the old flybar Trex 450 with new naming based on the blade size of 300mm blade.
So, maybe something the size of the Oxy 3 that replaces both the 450L and the 250 DFC.

I like it. Very tempting to pull the trigger on one. Please Let us know how much it will cost Keith.

PS I hope they sell it in Kits only as well. As I'm interested in a Kit only, not the combo. In any case please let us know.
