Default New to me used mcps

I just got this mcps used. Got it fixed up with a new frame and tail boom. I have two mcpx’s and flying this one compared to those it seems like the motor doesn’t have as much rpm compared to the the mcpx. I would assume it should be the same or maybe even better but it seems a little slower. I think it needs a new motor? I’ll probably just get the brushless upgrade once it gets in stock again but I was wondering if maybe it is normal for the mcps motor to be a little slower than the mcpx?

Hi Toadster25,
Accordong to my hoverin testing,

Hovering rpn Comparisons for mCPXV2/mCPS/mCPS BL

Battery:Hyperion 1S 3.7V 330mAh 50C
Throttle Curve:100% Flat
Pitch Curve:0%-50%-100%

1 mCPXV2

2 mCPS stock

I think mCPS BL is not so good Mod, because she is very electric eater and makes her flight time short.

After flying the mcps as is, I think I’ll just fly it like this. The head speed does seem a little lower than my two mcpx’s but it pretty much feels like it has the same power level for flipping and just flying around

To me the mcps seems a more stable in forward flight but in a hover it seems a little softer or less connected in a hover.
