I know a few ppl have used Spirit, and looks like they fly pretty good. But of course then you need an additional RX. That is the main reason I never switched.

Blade 230s , spirit FBL flight 3. (4 min 52 sec)

Any FBL that can do a motorized tail will work which many of the newer ones now support.

I personally have not tried a Spirit on a 230 S, but know of a couple of pilots who have and liked the performance of them. I have Spirit fbl’s mounted on three helis so far and I am very impressed with their performance.

Made any progress on this? My 230s is the last micro i own, i really like it but i would live to ditch my spektrum radio and only use my vcontrol.
Very interested!

Ive not been here in a while but decided to take a look. Ive not done it to my 230s yet but have a Spirit on my 450L and love it, mainly due to the self leveling feature. its so much easier to fly and control than with 3d style counter acting control, which is also why I want the Spirit FBL on my 230s.

Yes it will work. Just not sure if I'm smart enough to figure it out.
