^^^ Canopies are still those of the Classic Chronos... It's good to know that the classic canopies still fit the new RSR.

Yes, alot of it is backwards compatible. New boom suits the Chronos to a T. 330g total weight savings too

Take. My. Money!!

Seriously, I need a beater which is easy to fix in a crash and with this new boom Chronos RSR is a great fit - not to mention it flies smooth as silk and is quite powerful.

Good to know that many new RSR parts appear to be compatible to the classic Chronos and vise versa... Is it possible to replace the classic Chronos mainshaft, main gear, belt pulley, bottom bearing with those from the RSR? Does the new main gear and belt pulley have the same tooth count as those on the classic Chronos? I hope the RSR drive train fits those of the classic Chronos... That will solve the lack of spares for the old Chronos / 7HVU.

I am also liking the RSR especially the lack of boom struts and also the aforementioned weight savings. It is another step in evolution from the original classic 7HV.
