Dammit Tony... You’re making me relive the 1.5 hours of pure frustration trying to get it squared up with holes that didn’t align!

Once the CF was oriented the correct way, I didn’t think the squaring up was tough or time consuming. All good now, provided it works.

I usually have all that stuff in my shop, so once it arrives it’s mearly hours before it’s in the air.. I hate waiting.
But It will be worth the wait.

Well, the thing that’s making this tolerable is that I barely flew last season after buying an Oxy 4 then Oxy 2. I’m getting to know them both right now as I wait for my 480 electronics. Normally, I’d be going crazy but the Oxy’s and my new 150X are the perfect distraction.

Once you’re done building the 480 you will forget about all the other little ones

Well I have all my parts now. Weather was good but turned to crap again. Need to sun to comeback so I can get the motivation to wire it up and get the setup done. Nothing worse than finishing a build and being stuck just looking at the heli because the rain won’t stop. Feels like I’m always dealing with that.

Weathers got nothing to do with wiring it, unless you live outside with no roof. C’mon man.. finish it.

What battery are you guys running these days? Is pulse battery still good? Does it fit? I'm getting my heli back to fly and need a new battery. Thanks

Ha! I got busy with other crap and haven't been around HF so only seeing this now, lol.

I go through waves in my hobbies and got sidetracked. Still not done. As I said, weather turned to crap so had to find other things to do. I just need to find some motivation to get back at it again. The weather has improved drastically as of late so that might just do it!

Back when you started the "build", almost 3 months ago, wasn´t even thinking about getting a 480... Got one last week, built it, flew it and it is an awesome little heli, just what I needed, truly in love of it, honestly.

Flew it with 5000mah, cause that´s what I have, flies pretty darn well with them, heavy, but melts my brain for 7-8 minutes, awesome, just awesome!

Hope yours soon enough sees the sky, you´re missing all the fun buddy!

That's awesome, Jorge! Hasn't helped that my flying buddy has been busy too. Now that Spring is officially here, I'll get out there soon. Looking forward to flying it and hoping I love it as much as you. What blades you running?

Got some Zeal, switch and edge. Tried the zeals first, haven´t tried the switch and edge. Zeal´s are kinda noisy, you can feel them stall, but overall they are flyable, will be back home by the end of the month, gonna give the other two a try.
