I'm pretty sure they're working on a Fusion 180.

There have already been some teaser pics and even saw it in a video recently.

I honestly wish they would put safe modes and bailout on ALL of their helicopters. I've been flying for years, but I still like having it!

Can you share any links to these teasers and videos?

I don't want a 180 fusion. I want my 130X.

The only way I would even remotely consider buying a newer version of the 130X is if all these minimums were met...

1) Stretch the heli to accept 150mm main blades - 34mm tail blades
2) Give it 3S outrunner brushless power with the torque range of the Lynx 1911
3) Give it the same simple torque tube design as the 180CFX
4) CF Frame - rotary servos
5) CC Talon 25 ESC
6) No SAFE

Face it...the nCPX - mCPX - 130X were followed by SAFE versions...all failures even for My "Smooth Sport" flying style

No muss no fuss...plain old pure performance in a smaller package than any other manufacturer

Does having owned over 250 Blade models in the last 7 years count for anything?

Time will tell...

How could they make a Fusion 180? I say this cause the 180 already had a carbon frame.. I don't think the 180 could get any better. I mean i have enjoyed all 3 of mine, one was a trio, but now owning a Oxy2. im sticking with Oxy

The same way the 270CFX and 360CFX became the 270 Fusion and 360 Fusion...both had CF frames too...

Brand integration / identification

Sounds like you're saying two things:
1. You want a 180cfx; and
2. HH keeps trying to push SAFE on us.

1. is your perogative. I wish HH would listen to us regarding 2.

Look at the little ones at the top of the picture. Look close. They do not look like a 180 CFX to me and I own one.

Another...

Watch at about 20 to 30 seconds into this video when James is changing the battery in the 480. The video is from the "Official Blade RC Hangout" facebook page, so you might have to be in the group to see it.

Hopefully my linked pictures and video work...

Not sure what that little guy on the far left is but it sure looks like it may have to a future purchase for me looking at that tail assembly! Would be sweet if it was a 130 but a 180 would also be good too.

Looks like a 180CFX with thicker boom (belt tail ?), no landing gear and no boom support struts ... Maybe slightly different frame too ?
I think I see a Talon15 sticking out of the front ..

i still want a 130x w better gears and tailcase.

its a totally different heli than a 180cfx or potential 180 fusion.
Glad to see 180 may continue tho.

Based on the other Fusion helis, I would expect the Fusion 180 to have a belted tail. And this would be a good thing, me thinks.

A Fusion 180 would be a very nice addition. A 130 with a belted tail would be awesome but I can see that being very heavy like the 130S. I'm still shocked that they haven't released a good double brushless micro (something like the 150X) and instead opted to rehash another brushed Nano.

Seems like they're pointing their micro-helis mostly toward beginners. I think this is a mistake--intermediate and advanced pilots need high performance micro-helis too!
