Default Futaba 18SZ

Using a Phoenix, I just switched to Futaba and using an 18 SZ. I cannot get the sim to recognize it. The USB port recognizes it and says this device is working properly, but no transmitter is recognized on the Phoenix. My JR’s were always recognized without issue. Am using the Futaba square adapter.
Any suggestions?

Mine have always operated properly: Turn program on, pop up asks for dongle,: plug dongle, program then asks for tx, plug in tx, turns on tx and pop up goes away. Fly.

However I now have a ( 2nd in three years ) dongle go bad... It may be the wire, Tx, or Dongle, but i think the Dongle is ok.. Mine is acting just like yours.. plugging into the tx doesn't make the prompt popup go away. I have talked with people who have had bad Tx jack, and bad dongle. I don't know which my problem is, nor yours... But yea the popup goes away with Futaba plugged in... First it asks ( the program ) for a dongle, the a Tx. I plug the dongle in, and the tx prompt pops up, but plugging the tx in doesn't do anything like it used to... Arg....
