There's nothing back there but space on the inside. Could be done. That's the draw for many in scale modeling. If you've got the time and patience, and the real heli has it, you can most likely duplicate it on the model.

But I'm like many guys, and have only so much time and patience. Thus the relatively small gathering of scale enthusiasts in the hobby I think.

This photo shows the removable half of the cabin made transparent:

No vibs in the air, really fantastic fuse!

There other thing that would help balancing the CG is sitting at the front end of the tray my baby hamster, that would also transform my heli to a manned one!

Just built mine

10s 450 KV scorpion (5020-450) mod1 1 main gear 11 tooth pinion using 2x zippy 5s 5000 lips at 85% on the esc, 690 standard edge blades

Flys ok but a bit sluggish. It balances on the head but it seems tail heavy and the back end wants to drop a bit on spool down.

Guess really i need weight further forward, and maybe more head speed?

Help appreciated.

I am planning the following setup:

Kontronik Jive 80HV with a Scorpion HKIII 4035-450KV motor on 4500mAh 10S Lipo packs.

Main Gear 106T and Mod 1, motor pinion 12T.

According to my maths I should be flying at around 1400 RPM for smooth aerobatics:

450 [KV] X 40 [V] X 12 [PT] = 216000 [TPM]

216000 [TPM] / 106 [MT] = 2038 [RRPM]

Finally, setting up the ESC at 70%:

0.7 X 2038 [RRPM] = 1426 [RRPM]

Where:

KV = RPM / V
V = Volt
TPM = Teeth / Minute
PT = Pinion Teeth
MT = Main Gear Teeth
RRPM = Rotor Revolutions Per Minute

How does this setup look to you guys?

Ricci.
I am flying mine with a Kontronik Jive 80HV and a Kontronik 450Kv motor on an 8s lipo with an 11T pinion. It has a 5 blade head with Spin blades. The tail blades were moved to the left side of the boom.

With a throttle % of 50 I get a head speed around 1200rpm. At that speed it flies very well and can do mild aeros like stall turns and loops. In fact it is the most enjoyable heli in my fleet to fly.
