Default Using Futaba radio for 180cfx

Anyone is using futaba radio (14sg) for their 180 cfx? I have ikon on my 180 and am looking for satellite that can be bound to my 14sg. I donít want to use spektrum module for it

I ordered a small Futaba compatible rx from hobbyking China. Took about a month to get here with the cheap shipping. Works fine as far as I can tell but only flown a few times got sick of trying to chase down vibes. Fly my trex 250 in gym as it flys better and I have a vbar on it.

The one I bought was similar to that one but was fasst instead of Fhss. I also had the move the wires around on one of the adopters as the were not wired for the brain/ikon correctly.

This is the one I bought but looks like itís out of stock.

If you used there supplied cord on yours you may need to switch the wires around to make it work being your radio is fhss compatible.

Thank you for the info. This is exactly what I need to know. Since I tried fhss rx which didn't work, i was discouraged to try another rx until someone else confirm that it would work.

I found exact same rx, but cheaper at banggood and ordered it.

Hope it would work.

Received the rx yesterday and installed it. It works. Did test hover home this morning. I love it. Will take it to park on weekend if weather is nice. Thanks a lot for your help.

The reviews on hobbyking said the antenna were fragile so I put shoe goo around the base of the antenna wires on mine.
