Default Logo 550 build help

Building a logo 550 and cannot figure out for the life of me how to install the tail belt pulley. The belt just seems way too short there is no way. I've checked everything and the belt is just too short. The belt part number says 638xl which online says is correct. What am I doing wrong, ive redone the frame twice already thinking maybe i put that tail piece in there wrong and still the belt is too short. the Tail tube cannot slide in any further its bottomed out.

Once the belt is around the from belt pulley, the boom is installed, and the rear of the belt around the rear tail pulley, it should be fine.

You will pull back on the tail-case to take up slack.

You sure u lined the slots in the boom with the plastic front pieces? If not you are pushing against them and will never get it on.

Yep those slots are lined up and itís all the way forward. How long should the tail tube be? Iím wondering if the wrong tail tube came with it. There is no way itís fitting. The belt barely fits around the main shaft with no pulley on it.

Here are a few more pics. If you zoom in you can see I have the boom all the way forward in the slots. Also I have the tail case pushed all the way forward so much so that the tail wouldnt even operate in that position. Now look at the belt slack I have left, there is no way. I've checked everything. Does anyone know how long the belt should be by chance?

I found the issue. My tail boom measures 690mm. All of the logo 550 tail booms online say they should be 640mm. The instructions didn't mention cutting the boom down by 50mm so that's my issue.

You might be right. Parts catalog say the 550se boom is 690mm and takes a 686xl belt.

This happened to me to..

My kit had the wrong size tail boom and wrong size boom support.
