Default Heli-X Version 8 is Here!

Just downloaded V-8 and ordered full access. The demo mode looks pretty cool.

Default whats new...

1 new airport
18 new airplanes (the smoke feature is really cool!)
few quads (fpv capable??) no idea
new airplane training scenarios
I did not notice any new helicopters, nothing really different from V-7 to V-8 on the helicopter side that I noticed so far.

After a few cups of coffee and 1 hour of messing around, I am very happy with the purchase!

Quads and helis have been already fpv capable, but need a 3D scene loaded to work.

Most obvious upgrade is the airplanes (including slope soaring with respective scenery), but a list of all changes can be found here:

I have to say I purchased Heli-x about a year ago. And the continual upgrades really make this a worth while purchase. Overall I'm very impressed with the program.

You can use any standard cable that connects your radio with the usb port of you PC. Don't know your radio, but usually they offer a training port for that purpose and most have their unique connector type.

Also, proprietary dongles specific to a certain simulator like Phoenix will not work.

Otherwise If your radio supports Spektrum, you could also use a wireless system like the Wireless Simulator Dongle WS1000.
