Default Glogo 690 reciever battery size

So i know the ideal battery is a opti 2cell 5000, 200grams. (Cant get them in my country)

Whats the max length you can go with a reciever battery without it sticking outside the frame?

Also would i be better of having a slightly heavier rx pack or slightly lighter?

Going to be using a backupguard and probably a switchglow pro.
VControl, Vbar Neo, Scorpion power systems, Optiguard, BK servos, Mikado Logo 700

You need the pack that allows you to get the CoG in the correct place.

In the past on a nitro model I have used 2S 1100mAh A123 LiFe and recharge after every flight. I had three of them for a total of a claimed 3000 recharges.

Generally I would go for the lightest pack required to keep the overall weight down.

The GLogo is pretty tail heavy, but battery space out front is limited because of the throttle servo. I'm running 2x 7.4V 2600mah LiPos (one next to throttle servo and one on upper plate) and it's still slightly tail heavy.
How do you make a small fortune in this hobby?
Start with a large one!
