Default Canít buy rubber S2 board dampers separately. CíMon HH!!

I emailed Horizon Hobby asking them how to order the two rubber dampers (dampeners?) that help secure the S2 board to the canopy posts. Thy replied that the product is only available with the board themselves.

The dampeners are prone to breaking, but the board+dampeners cost $64.99 on HHís site.

Thatís pretty silly if you ask me.

Iíll be contacting Horizon Hobby fairly often to urge them to sell the dampeners separately.

Hereís the email thread.

My email to them:

Hi. For the Nano S2, what is the product code for ordering only the long rubber dampers that attach the lower part of the FBL to the lower canopy posts of the frame? I donít mean the canopy grommets, but instead the things that are long at keep the lower FBL vibration free. I attached a picture.
Here is their response:

Brian,

Those pieces are only included with the board replacements themselves.

Kind Regards

I requested they add the dampers separately. Fingers crossed.

Brian,

We will note your feedback and request to the marketing and development team. For the time being, that is the only option unless you were to fabricate something from a local hardware store.

You might also PM Brian Bremer on here. It would probably get more attention than customer service.

Default rubber mod

hi I had the same problem with these small rubbers, if you use anything sharp to get it in the hole it will damage it. I contacted HH and they said cant help cos I'm in the uk try finding something that works lol thanks for that HH. anyways I have a solution, on banggoods there are some tiny little rubber mounts for drone pcb's, I bought a few and chopped the old rubber mount so it still had the hole in it to mount to the strut and then glued the new rubber to the old with super glue. know I can break this part and not worry.
also the new rubbers are a little tougher. hope this helps.

Has nothing to do with you being in the UK. I just checked the US site, and there is no way to get new dampeners without buying a new board. This is way up there on the list of stupid!
