Default DJI Spark Video Quality

I am aware the Spark is only 1080p/30frms and just want to make sure I get the best quality I can.

I have not had mine long and have been running the video to my phone (through a cable) to the controller and do not have an SD card in the Spark.

Will I get better quality running an SD card in the Spark?

I love the DJI Go 4 app and making videos on my phone. If I put a SD card in the spark, how do I edit video on the card?

If I need to get a 3rd party video editor for my PC, what are some suggestions on a very simple/cheap editing software. About all I like to do is add music and maybe make a few cuts

Definitely get an sd card. The actual in live video won't be any different but the saved video will be. I'm not sure how to do it on the go app but I would imagine you could select your source video and edit from there. I use the windows movie maker, certainly not Adobe premiere or anything but will do basic stuff. But it seems movie maker is no longer included in current windows version. see here
