Default New Blade 400 Yardsale Score?

I just picked up a Blade 400 3D RTF (EFLH1400) with a bunch of extra parts still in packages for dirt cheap at a yardsale, the guy said he never flew it which I kinda believe because it looks brand new BUT the catch was the original E-flite 1800mAh 3S 11.1V 30C LiPo is bad.

Looking on Amazon I found a GOLDBAT 3S 5200mAh 11.1V 50C LiPo for around the same price. Can I use the 5200mah Lipo instead of a 1800mah Lipo, if so will it give more power and/or flight time?

You would happen to have a parts bag #EFLH1465?

5200 is huge and too heavy for that heli. I wouldn't go over 2200.

Definitely too large and heavy a lipo. You need a 3S 2200-2300 or less. If you are learning don't worry about the C rating. It's often inflated anyway.

I bought up a bunch of B400's on here while people were almost giving them away for shipping. I had seven but two are now retired frames for parts. I should be able to keep them going for years. I can fly them without worry about crash costs since I have almost nothing in them. I even have one I fly when it's wet/rainy out with most of the stuff waterproofed. I called it my B400R.

I didn't hear back from anyone so I went ahead and bought the 5200mah battery. Now I know why the helicopter has a hard time getting off the ground, lol.

I already cracked the main gear and replaced it so before I try to fly again I will definitely pick up the correct size battery. Thank you for the input.
