Default Am I missing something for joining online?

Hi,
Recently got accurc 2.0.9
Running windows 10 on a decent system
All other parts of Sim run fine

When I click on online, then try and join a session, it never comes up with any sessions to try and join.
I usually wait a few seconds then give up.

Am I missing something?
Are there just no online public sessions?

I heard there just aren't any. Whenever I look, I never see any either. Someone said its best to try to plan something with some friends.

You could always host one and see who joins. RF is that way anymore with seldom a MP session especially now it's divided up so much more. One version can't fly with another in that which sucks.

I've looked too when running AccuRC. Weekends tend to be a bit more active on MP.

Well, if nobody hosts, nobody will find sessions to join- it's as simple as that.

There are four people in this thread expecting to find sessions online while there are no people wanting to host. Sessions don't just pop up from thin air.

You'll need to show at least some initiative if you want to fly online. Why not just host the next time you sim anyway? It doesn't impact the flying experience at all and you even get to choose the scenery.

You can also use the AccuRC Discord server to coordinate online sessions.

That is common. The problem is that people look for a session and then leave when they find nothing. You have to open your own session and do your training online even forever alone. When someone looks for a session, you are online and the person joins. Almost every time I do that, someone comes up. Try do this.

I have done that several times. No one showed. Does it use UPNP to open the ports for you in your firewall or do you have to go manually open ports?

Ok, fine, will do that next time.

Question on how it works though : if I host a session, will everybody globally be able to see it (ie. It's not regional in nature)?
If it's global then that's why I'm a bit surprised I don't see any ever....
Also is there a way to check that when I look for sessions im actually getting a connection to the registration/listing server (ie. An Entry in a log somewhere indicating connection was successful, etc.)?

Thanks

You can always join the ACCURC2 Discord channel as well, people advertise sessions there as well.
