I suspect it's only a matter of time before they're available from vendors in the USA.

Yes but you have to send your motor in for service. I believe Kontronik USA have the shafts too

I ordered it through my local dealer, but it is an existing partnummer by Kontronik :
from Kontronik :
We provide a PYRO 750-50 L2 #0277093 and a PYRO 750-50 Competition L2 #0277093C (expected lead time 2 weeks) which fits Logo 700
and we offer also a shaft for exchange # 03833 but only for PYRO 750 series motors.

at the moment there are NO shafts for 800 series....

This motor has a lower kv vs the scorpion and xnova motors. Anyone knows what's the maximum headspeed we can get from a 14T pinion? Thanks.

Following mr mels calc for 14T on 12 cells with 500KV

Throttle 60%: 1508
Throttle 65%: 1634
Throttle 70%: 1760
Throttle 75%: 1886
Throttle 80%: 2011
Throttle 85%: 2137
Throttle 90%: 2263

Same conditions 520 KV

Throttle 60%: 1580
Throttle 65%: 1712
Throttle 70%: 1844
Throttle 75%: 1976
Throttle 80%: 2107
Throttle 85%: 2239
Throttle 90%: 2371

There is about 100 RPM difference in RPM for the same PWM. I fly both SCORP4525-520 ULT and the Pyro750-500KV. (same helisetup). The scorp is a very good motor and widely used. It looks like it is the pro pilots preferred motor too. The Pyro 750-500L2 has about the same peak power but it feels like having a little more torque over a wider rpm range, It does run cooler !!!
I like this motor for the mechanical quality of build ! My flying buddy flies a XNOVA on the same Logo700 and is very happy with it, no issues until now on the motors available for the Logo700.
/Kurt

Mikado usa wil most certainly be able to order one for you at Kontronik Germany. It took them about 14 days to handmade mine ! If you like to provide your name they put your signature on the motor too

Good luck !

Thanks Kurt, I plan to run about 2000 to 2100rpm. I considered the Pyro because it tends to run cooler and since it's only about 20 Euro dollars more than the Scorpion, I will likely order one!
