Default Logo shutdown. Was it static?

I don’t know if I should post this here or in VBar. So here we go;

I flew my L700 this morning and lost all power. I was maybe 60ft away and 30ft high. Luckily, I was able to auto down with zero damage. I looked at the logs on my Touch and it reported a ‘RC Input Packets Lost’. Is this due to static?

I have the anti static cable installed. Any ideas?

i would do a range check and then check the static wire continuity with an ohm meter (multi-meter)..

I've seen some logs from a friends heli which (propably) had some static issues. It did not contain the "input package lost". Now, i'm not an expert, and static is plausible, but I would also check your TX/RX, and as said do a range check. It sounds like you lost signal

Thatís what happens when you have a static hit. It says input packets lost and goes into fail safe.

Update.

Not to go into great detail but this is what i did to rule things out; rewire, new cables, added another anti static cable and silicone to the belt.

After all this, I took it out for a hover and I still got the 'rc packets input lost' log followed by a shutdown. I final did a range check and it was very weak. Rx signal was very weak but Tx signal was high with zero fluctuation. I would lose signal within close proximity or if I was 20ft away.

Needless to say the Neo is being sent back to Mikado.

Well, that sucks. But itís a good thing you found it

Nothing more frustrating than not being able to find the source of the problem.
