If You feel the motor bogging...that would be the result of the longer blades

But the delay in transition typically points to main shaft play

The delay is mainly when I am descending with negative pitch, and then try to climb back up, there is a difference w/the 255mm blades, it's noticeable but not drastic, I have plenty of positive pitch but I feel it's got to be the longer disk-loading when reversing direction makes the heli fly "bigger." I will shim the main shaft and fly on Friday and post if there's a difference. Also, in the old "sticky and valuable threads" posters say there is unavoidable head rotation/play on all 300x's, I just never noticed it until recently.

Had another 2 flights today, this time with microheli orange tail rotor blades. I was surprised that the performance wasn't much different than cf tail blades, I'm not sure I noticed anything different, especially at higher speeds, and the difference in price is $3.99 compared to $18.99. Also, it was the first time I've seen colored rotor blades spinning, it does look quite cool and make a difference for orientation. No problems at all landing today w/the 255mm Zeal blades, don't know if that's from changing the tail blades to plastic, or from being more prepared to set it down gently in normal mode (probably the latter). This Heli is actually very easy to land softly if you're patient, sometimes I'm eager to load the next battery pack.

Flew today with the microheli longer tail boom support brace, it helps for sure hold the tail, I flew yesterday too so the characteristics were fresh in my head, and the heli overall felt more vib-free. Also experimented with the belt tension, IMO the heli flies more locked-in and followed my commands better and no wobble w/the belt on the "tight-side."
