Default Pinion / Headspeed Question

Sometimes math is hard for me, so I'll ask the group!

Running a 4530/510 kv 12S system, which pinion will generate the highest head speed, the 13 or 14?

Thanks!

Lou, you need to state what governor you're going to use.

V-Bar gov.?

Or, is it your ESC gov.? If so, what ESC?

It's also helpful to know if you are using 35C, 45C, 60C packs and are they new or old?

Higher pinion tooth count will cause higher head speed than a lower tooth count

People should start putting their main gear on the motor shaft and their pinion on the main shaft. That’s the way to do it.
